Where helicopter skiing on the Arlberg is possible
Due to nature conservation there are very strict regulations for heliskiing in Austria. Lech Zürs features of only very few such sites in the entire country, inviting you to experience the finest powder and firn snow.
Heliskiing on the Mehlsack
The Schafberg in Zug invites good, experienced skiers to special rides in deep snow or in spring firn. Having arrived on 2,652 m, you ski pleasurably into the tributary valley Zug bei Lech via the routs in the direction of Älpele or to the Spullersee with its sunny slopes. Reaching the valley bottom the local junctions to Lech or the Zuger Bergbahn are an approximate 20-minute walk through the idyllic winter scenery.
Orgelscharte in Lech
Land on approx. 2,450 m below the Orgelscharte and ski into the Schneetäli. Your skiing skills need to be at least average in order to enjoy this downhill experience. Wonderful, sunny slopes await you until after Zug, displaying excellent firn show particularly in spring.
